This year, it is difficult to hold many year-end events due to COVID-19, including our end-of-year celebration and executive election. We have decided to take the opportunity to transition to a more structured election process with the hope that it will represent a larger proportion of the club’s votes.In the past, executives were elected during the end-of-year celebration, which was unfair as: 1) not all who wanted to run were able to attend; 2) very few club members were actually in attendance in voting; and 3) there was a lack of an accurate and professional method of running for a position or voting. Thus, we have decided to experiment with an election process to which many other clubs already subscribe.

- Apply here, or click the link below. Make sure that you read the position requirements, and have a candidate statement prepared for the position you are applying to.
- Our current Presidium will go through the president and vice president applications to ensure that all applicants are eligible for the role.
- The club is currently voting for 1-2 President(s) and 1 Vice President that will make up the 2020-2021 Presidium. Vote here, or click the link below.
- The newly-elected Presidium will go through the applications for other executives, conduct informal interviews if necessary, and select their executive team.
Note that you are able to apply for two different positions. At the end of the form, you will be asked if you are interested in another executive position as well. If you are, please check the box and then submit another application using this form.

The deadline for applications for all other executive roles is April 10th. Once the Presidium has been elected, they will select their executive team during the remainder of April.
We hope that this process will create more structure in our election process. We are open to all concerns and will amend this process if necessary. The goal is to make an official election process like this and, after a future club vote, update our club’s constitution.
